Businesses can start applying for the new Business subsidy programme aimed at hiring 2.000 unemployed persons
aged 18+, in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace
Today, Friday, March 13, at 13:00, private sector businesses can start applying online for the new Business subsidy programme aimed at hiring 2.000 unemployed persons, aged 18+, in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
The programme aims to create 2.000 new full-time jobs for persons aged 18+ in businesses regularly engaging in economic activity in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
The businesses which will hire unemployed persons aged 18+ in new full-time jobs will receive a subsidy ranging from 50% to 70% of the total wage and non-wage cost (wage and social insurance contributions) depending on the aid status. The maximum monthly subsidy amount is set to €875,00 for a period of 12 months.

After the application has been submitted, DYPA will confirm whether the respective business meets the relevant conditions, and DYPA's employment counsellors will suggest candidates with the skills and qualifications specified by the employer.
This employment programme has a total budget of up to € 21.000.000,00 and will be funded by DYPA.
