unemployed persons aged 18–29

Emphasis on women and the digital and green economy

 

The new “Integrated entrepreneurship support programme for unemployed persons aged 18 -29 with particular emphasis on women and the digital and green economy” of a total budget of €37 m. will be announced in January 2026.

The objective of the 12-month action is to promote entrepreneurship and to enable 2,114 unemployed persons to create new small and medium-sized enterprises, thus offering a meaningful alternative for young people not in employment, education or training (NEETs). Special emphasis is placed on unemployed women as well as in business active in the sectors of digital and green economy. The exact start date for applying and the deadline for applications will be announced in a later press release.

The subsidy amounts to €17.500 per business and is granted in three instalments, depending on the business sustainability and uninterrupted operation:

1st instalment: €4.700, after the start date of the business activity (Milestone A)2nd instalment: €6.400, after a six-month operation period and following an on-site inspection to verify its actual operation (Milestone B)3rd instalment: €6.400, after a twelve-month operation period and following a new on-site inspection to verify its actual and uninterrupted operation (Milestone C).

Beneficiaries are unemployed persons aged 18-29, registered with DYPA Digital Register, who are not in education, employment or training (NEETs) and apply for funding with a business plan.

The funding application is submitted exclusively via the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS) in the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Users can log into iSAMIS using a Web browser at the following link: https://opske.gr/el

The programme is co-funded by the Greek State and the European Social Fund (ESF+) in the framework of the Operational Programme "Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027".
