Special business subsidy programme aimed at hiring 3,400 unemployed people, formerly working in businesses affected by the lignite phase-out in the Regions of Western Macedonia and the Peloponnese

OBJECTIVE

To combat unemployment and to ensure social cohesion by creating 3.400 new full-time jobs for unemployed people, formerly working in businesses affected by the lignite phase-out.

BENEFICIARIES

Businesses active in the Regions of Western Macedonia and Peloponnese (Municipalities of Megalopoli, Tripoli, Gortynia, Sparta, Oichalia and Kalamata) which have not reduced their staff in the 3-month period prior to the application, nor do they exceed the permitted funding limits of state aid, depending on the aid scheme they choose.

BENEFICIARIES

Unemployed persons, registered with DYPA for at least one month at the time of their referral, who have been employed since1/1/2019 in businesses of the Regional Units of Kozani, Florina and Megalopoli.
