We are currently looking for multi-lingual staff working at our new office in the center of Riga to expand our non-English products of both present and historical financial information.

Specialists with foreign language knowledge are involved in our document acquisition process as well as data input activities of the relevant financial information. The employee will receive fulltraining, as well asgain familiarity with financial concepts and terminology.

Job responsibilities:

Document Acquisition/research:

Obtaining financial information via web research and direct company contact; Assisting in converting this information into formats usable for FactSet’s in house applications. Applying language skills in daily internal and external communication – both written and spoken.

Data input activities:

Identifying and inputting relevant financialinformation; Creating and maintaining financial dictionaries; Researching and inputting textual information used for business profiling. Applying language skills in daily internal and external communication – both written and spoken.

Required skills:

Native level of Greek, in addition to fluency in English. Good communications skills written & oral Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package; Ambitious and enthusiastic; Commitment to details.

Desirable skills:

Knowledge of financial statements and financial terminology; Knowledge of Machine Translation (MT) and/or Computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, such as Systran, Google or SDL Trados.
