We are seeking to employ registered nurses - educated within EU/EES and in possess of a European citizenship with some experience and interest for working in one of following departments at our university hospital:

Geriatrics Neurology Medicine Pulmonary medicine

License to practice as a nurse responsible for general care

If you want to work as a nurse responsible for general care in Sweden, you need a Swedish licence. You need to get your qualifications recognised and you need to have language skills in Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.

You apply for a license to practice at The National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).

 

Nursing training in Sweden:

Nurse within general care

Basic training – 3 years at University/College

Specialised nursing – 12 to 18 month additional training within following areas:
